“Ideal for hospitality environments the UP700 is the perfect terminal for businesses intending to expand.
Affordable as a stand alone machine yet with a networking capacity that allows 16 terminals to be linked on one site it is perfect for every stage of your business’s growth. With a raft of features, including an 8-line operator display which utilizes Sharp’s expertise in LCD technology, quiet two-station thermal printing, easy scanning and a flat keyboard to reduce spillage, the UP700 has been designed to enhance and improve the running of your business.
Uniquely amongst it’s class, the UP700 communicates sales data via the internet using e-mail, meaning that all sales data can be sent in just one e-mail and as it appears on the terminal. If your business has more than one site the data can be collected in one transaction at the Head Office.
Integrated with thermal printing, screen based and with a high level of industry standard communications and internet capability the UP700 should be the choice for any forward thinking business planning to expand.
Large Multi-line Display: The backlit LCD operator panel shows eight lines of information at a time, for quick confirmation even in low-light environments. The display can be tilted at an angle for better viewing.
Fast, Quiet Thermal PrintingThe UP700 prints detailed receipts including information such as sales items, the cashier’s name and company message.
Thermal printing is faster and quieter than dot-matrix printing at approximately 17 lines per second. Graphic logos can also be printed.
Customizable Flat Keyboard: On the UP700 the flat keyboard can be customized in any way to accommodate specific business needs and applications.
When upgrading from an older it machine it is possible to create a keyboard that is consistent with the previous terminal thus saving training time and errors.
Ideal for restaurants it is possible to switch between three PLU menus of differing menus and prices depending on the time of day.
Easy Barcode Scanning: If products come up as unregistered during a transaction it can be registered during the sale. Simply scan the barcode and enter the price and department number. The item is then added to the master product file, allowing businesses to be run even more efficiently.
In-line Communications: Using the optional Ethernet interface board a network of up to fifteen ‘slave’ terminals can be connected to one “”master”” terminal. The “”master”” terminal can collect and process sales data from the “”slave”” terminals as well as sending out pre-set data.
Stylish Design:The sleek, modern design blends into any interior and adds a touch of elegance to your business.”
